The high-quality, hard-shell touring case, at approx. 30 litres in volume, provides ample space for luggage or a motorcycle helmet. The waterproof cases with black body are lockable and the perfect travel companion for short or longer tours.
The high-quality M Carbon engine guard is as strong as steel but weighs just 620 g per side. This material allows for a slim design that is integrated into the vehicle and has an aerodynamic cross section. This unique high-tech component combines a sporty look with excellent protection without affecting the bike’s look or ability to bank.
The Comfort seat provides the rider with noticeably improved sitting comfort thanks to the 10 mm extra padding. At the same time, the pillion seat has a wider foam contour. The Heat Reflect cover material, which reduces the surface temperature in direct sunlight by up to 15° C, is especially sophisticated.
The high-intensity LED auxiliary headlights in the aluminium housing, thanks to their distinctive look, differentiate your bike from cars on first glance, thus making your rides safer. At the same time, they ensure better illumination of the road with their daylight-like light colour. The LED technology ensures almost wear-free operation.
The tinted windscreen underpins the sporty look of the motorcycle. With scratch-resistant coating for permanent transparency. Alternatively, the tinted windshield is also available in a 70 mm longer variant.
Equipment Options
The high-quality Carbon package emphasizes the sporty quality of the adventure sport bike and supercharges its dynamic look. This package includes the front and rear wheel covers, the integrated chain guard, and the side cladding. The add-on components here create noble as well as sporty accents with high-tech aspirations.
Racing to the front of the pack: the M package puts the focus of your bike on performance – unmistakable for others and clearly noticeable for you. The M Package colour and the black anodised, race-tested M forged wheels already make their performance promise at first glance: the M Sport seat with reinforced grip, the scratch-resistant Sport windscreen, the 2,000 g lighter M Lightweight lithium-ion battery, the titanium sports silencer with carbon-fibre cap and the M Endurance chain with DLC-coated castors.
You give it your all – the equipment of the Dynamic Package will support in doing so. Dynamic ESA Pro (Electronic Suspension Adjustment) provides a second suspension mode as well as automatic riding position compensation. Shift assistant Pro enables the rider to quickly upshift and downshift in almost all load and engine speed ranges without clutch control. Electronic cruise control maintains a constant vehicle speed so that you can concentrate on the essentials and the heated grips provide added comfort.
Your XR will get you going – the Tour package will support you in doing so. Particularly practical when travelling: the luggage carrier with integrated topcase carrier removal mechanism. Simply integrate your navigation device into the existing preparation – and off you go. Thanks to Keyless Ride, you can just climb on and ride off. The hand protector makes travelling even more comfortable. Thanks to the tyre pressure control system (RDC), your cockpit display keeps you up to date at all times and warns you in good time if there is a loss of pressure. Once you have reached your destination, the centre stand ensures a secure position.
The adaptive cornering light guarantees significantly better illumination of the roadway when riding around curves. The cornering lights of the Headlight Pro system trigger at inclines of 10°. In doing so, the low beam shines into the curve and provides the rider with considerable gains in terms of safety.
Tyre pressure monitoring provides information about the current tyre pressure and informs the rider of potential dangers early in case of pressure loss. The values can be called up via the cockpit display. A yellow tail lamp and a red warning light automatically indicate a relevant deviation from the setpoints while riding.
The centre stand ensures that the bike is standing safely and securely and offers advantages such as when refuelling, loading and unloading the case or during maintenance work. In addition, the tyres and the spring elements are given a rest for prolonged periods of immobilisation.
With Headlight Pro, the headlight has an iconic lighting element that functions as a position and daytime running light. In connection with the adaptive cornering light, this improves the rider’s ability to see and be seen, making rides safer.
With Keyless Ride, from now on the key stays in your pocket. Because the keyless system is extremely convenient and lets the rider start their machine simply with the press of a button. The steering lock and fuel cap can also be unlocked this way. So the motto is: simply climb aboard and ride off!
